The Bruins announced Monday that McAvoy will miss two weeks after undergoing a procedure to treat an abnormal heart rhythm. The rookie has five goals and 20 assists in 45 games while leading the Bruins with 102 hits.

Analysis: "Following the Bruins game on November 26, 2017, Charlie told team physicians that he experienced heart palpitations during the game," Bruins team internist Dr. David Finn said in a statement. "Subsequently he underwent an evaluation, which diagnosed him with a supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). The type of SVT Charlie has is not considered to be dangerous to his health but can recur at any time and causes significant symptoms."

Analysis: Quick ended his personal five-game losing skid to earn his first win since Jan. 2. The Kings are in Vancouver on Tuesday, and Quick had 22 saves in a 4-3 win there on Dec. 30. He is 5-1-1 with a 1.27 GAA and .951 save percentage in seven starts there since 2015.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped 26 of 29 shots in the Rangers' 4-2 loss to the Kings on Sunday. The defeat dropped him to 21-13-4 on the season with a 2.55 GAA and .924 save percentage.

Analysis: Lundqvist has now lost consecutive starts in regulation for the first time since Nov. 15 and 17, and is 2-3-2 with a 2.35 GAA in his last seven road games. The Rangers are in Anaheim on Tuesday, and Lundqvist stopped 39 shots in a 4-1 win over the Ducks at the Garden on Dec. 19.
